Scaling quantum computing through silicon

Diraq is an Australian quantum computing company founded in Sydney, with U.S. offices and labs in Palo Alto and Chicago, and a planned new operation in Los Angeles. The company is building silicon-based quantum processors designed for utility-scale quantum computing. By leveraging modified silicon transistors and existing CMOS manufacturing processes, Diraq aims to place millions of qubits on a single chip and enable compact, cost-efficient systems that can integrate into standard data-center environments. As Diraq expands its U.S. team and operations, its approach positions silicon as a scalable path toward commercially useful quantum computing.
